SCENAR Therapy can be used to help treat painful, dysfunctional conditions to reduce pain and disability, to improve functionality, and to help restore, maintain and optimize general health.

Where is SCENAR from?

The SCENAR (Self Controlled Energo Neuro Adaptive Regulator) was initially developed by doctors and scientists within the Russian space program in the late 1970s to cope with the unique problems of space travel. Today SCENAR is a mainstream medical modality in Russia and there it has very many applications.

How does SCENAR work?

The SCENAR communicates with all functions of the body through direct contact on the skin, tuning into the body’s inner communication, and understanding the body’s needs from the signals being sent back and forth.

 The SCENAR responds to these signals accordingly with gentle electrical impulses that communicate with the nervous system to stimulate the body’s own healing process to help relieve pain and restore function. It turns on the brain to do what is should do - heal the body. Quite simply, the signals from the damaged tissue are not being recognized. Scenar reactivates the brain.

Scenar Therapy can greatly improve the efficacy of other modalities such as herbal medicine, homeopathy, dietary regimes, acupuncture, etc. With Scenar therapy positive results can be achieved much faster.

WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE?

SCENAR Therapy is non-invasive. The device is very safe; the impulse times are very short. No pain is felt but the patient is usually aware of a tingling sensation while it works.

The practitioner is looking for signs of asymmetry by changes in colour, sensation, stickiness, sound and by numerical display readings.
